Omega Shows Optimism with New Ad Campaign Luxury News from ...

At a time when luxury spending looks like it's back, especially in China, mainstream luxury watchmaker Omega announced a new advertising campaign in conjunction with the 10th anniversary of the Co-Axial escapement.

Taking as its inspiration the iconic image of actor George Clooney wearing a lab coat and a loupe, Omega presents a wide selection of its ambassadors in the same setting, including Nicole Kidman and Cindy Crawford. A notable addition is 'moonwalker' Buzz Aldrin, below.

These memorable images may yet succeed in boosting Omega's already high-profile presence worldwide and help it in its battle with mighty and omniprescient Rolex. Hopefully, they are also a sign of renewed optimism in the luxury watch business.
