Happy birthday, Tom Cruise! Today, Tom turns 50 years old! Jeez, can you believe it?! Remember him in Risky Business? He was so little. Tommy boy, you're lookin' good for 50 years old, Tom!Tom has been around for what feels like centuries. He's starred in the Mission Impossible Series, Knight and Day, Valkyrie, Collateral, Minority Report, Vanilla Sky...the list goes on. His most recent film, Rock of Ages, with Julianne Hough, certainly showed that Tom can re-invent himself...as if we ever doubted that. With that being said, we're sure he'll be around for another few decades.
He's been nominated for Academy Awards and won Blockbuster Entertainment Awards, Golden Globe Awards, Kid Choice Awards, MTV Movie Awards. Again...the list goes on.
He's starred alongside Cameron Diaz, Ben Stiller, Dakota Fanning, Colin Farrell, Penelope Cruz and many, many more.
Tom Cruise has five new flicks coming our way within the next two years. We're pumped to see them once they hit the big screen!
In 1990, Tom married actress Nicole Kidman, but their marriage ended in divorce in 2001. In 2006, he married Katie Holmes and the two have the cutest daughter ever named Suri, who you can find roaming the streets of NYC in cupcake and candy stores.
Betchya didn't know that Tom took up acting after he had to quit the wrestling team because of a knee injury. Sorry about your injury, Tom, but we're sure glad you decided the acting route!
