Top 5 TIFF films you'll see in theatres soon - Home

Every year, the Toronto International Film Festival exceeds my expectations. It seems like there’s a longer list of celebrities and more international films screening at TIFF with each festival. There’s always a string of A-list movies that we can expect to see opening in theatres soon. These are the top 5 films from this year’s festival that I can’t wait to see in theatres soon.

On the Road: Based on Jack Kerouac’s legendary novel, the film follows a young writer who travels cross-country with his free-spirited friends. (Kristen Stewart, Sam Riley, Kirsten Dunst)

Reincarnated: This intimate portrait documents one of hip hop’s greatest artists as he evolves into a reggae star, Snoop Lion, during a spiritual reawakening in Jamaica. (Snoop Dogg)

Anna Karenina: A new revamp of the classic Tolstoy novel set in 19th Century aristocratic Russia. (Keira Knightley, Jude Law)

The Paperboy: This thriller takes place in the 1960s, based on the book of the same name that follows two brothers investigating a murder trial. (Nicole Kidman, Zac Efron, John Cusack, Matthew McConaughey)

Twice Born: A love story set against the Balkan wars in the 1990s flashing back and forth from past to present. (Penelope Cruz, Emile Hirsch)
