British actors Robert Lindsay ("Hornblower," "My Family") and Roger Ashton-Griffiths ("Gangs of New York") along with Irish actress Geraldine Somerville (the "Harry Potter" series) have all joined the cast of Olivier Dahan's "Grace of Monaco" at YRF Entertainment reports Variety.
Nicole Kidman will star as legendary actress Grace Kelly at a point six years into her marriage to the monarch of the wealthy but small European nation. Now retired, she is called upon to save Monaco from an escalating situation regarding its standing as a tax haven.
Lindsay will play Aristotle Onassis, the Greek businessman whose girlfriend, opera singer Maria Callas (Paz Vega), was a close confidante of Kelly's.
Ashton-Griffiths will play filmmaker Alfred Hitchcock who worked with Kelly on "Dial M For Murder," "Rear Window" and "To Catch a Thief". In this film Hitchcock tries to get her to come out of retirement to star in his new movie.
Somerville will play Prince Rainier's traitorous older sister Princess Antoinette who was exiled after a failed attempted coup.
Tim Roth, Frank Langella, Parker Posey and Milo Ventimiglia also star. The project is currently filming in France.
