With rehearsals now underway for the UK premiere of Photograph 51 by Anna Ziegler, producers have released the play's official teaser trailer. Check it out below!
Directed by Michael Grandage, Photograph 51 opens in the West End at the Noel Coward Theatre on 14th September (previews from 5th September) for a limited run until 21st November 2015. The cast is led by Nicole Kidman as Rosalind Franklin and Stephen Campbell Moore as Maurice Wilkins.
Completing the cast are Will Attenborough, Edward Bennett, Patrick Kennedy and Joshua Silver. Set and costume design is by Christopher Oram with lighting by Neil Austin and compositions and sound by Adam Cork.
Kidman recently visited King’s College London Archives as part of her research for the role. She is pictured below (click to enlarge) with the original slide of Photograph 51 taken by Franklin, which was key to the discovery of DNA.
